Join the EXJ Community

The first ever network specifically created for lawyers working in nonlegal careers. There are literally hundreds of communities for practicing lawyers cut every which way.

By practice area, by geography, by title, by industry.  But there was no network for the estimated 600,000+ non-practicing lawyers in the US.  Until now.

To make it super easy to join, there is no cost or obligation.  We just want you.

A JD is a terrific foundation for myriad careers, law but one.

A JD is not just a law degree. A JD is a degree in complex problem-solving. And if there is one thing every business needs more of, it is complex problem-solvers.

We have armed users of exjudicata.com with this mantra helping them to confidently seek, interview for and successfully move to, nonlegal careers.

We recently surpassed 500,000 unique users and more importantly, have helped so many lawyers and law students make their next move. And, sometimes, that next move was not leaving law but rather changing practice environments (i.e. move to a new firm, move in-house)

We have now launched the EXJ Community. The first peer-to-peer network for non-practicing lawyers.

Why this matters

It’s the power of the network.

There are several hundred thousand non-practicing lawyers. All over the place, in all kinds of careers, working for all types of companies all around the country. Yet there is no interconnectivity. People who have a wealth of knowledge and experience building careers leveraging their JD skill sets. But no central place to share all this to benefit one another. No shared community. Until now.

A place where non-practicing lawyers can come together to network, connect, build relationships, share knowledge, information, resources, job opportunities and develop business among peers who understand the unique challenges and benefits of being lawyers working in nonlegal careers.

Membership is free for all non-practicing lawyers. No obligation. We don’t even ask for a credit card.

We want to scale membership as rapidly as possible with the goal of creating a true community for the first time.
