We are committed to reducing our impact on the planet by achieving carbon neutrality annually and net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2030.

Twenty-seven years ago, we launched our first start-up. We built the company with care and compassion, hiring the best person for the job. We had 62 team members, 67% female and 36% BIPOC.
ex judicata is committed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in our hiring practices, as well as vendor, supplier and partnership relationships. Two of our four most prominent partnerships are led by POC, as well as, a woman owned business.
At the core of our mission is improving the well-being of JDs considering, or committed to, moving from the practice of law to business, government, academia and/or NFPs. Studies after studies (cited on our site) reveal hard data depicting the prevalence of substance use disorder, depression, anxiety and suicide ideation in the legal profession. The Legal Industry is a very noble profession, it just isn’t for everyone. ex judicata’s mission is to offer a pathway from law to business including education, career advice, and job opportunites for the transitioning attorney.
To begin to build our Corporate Social Responsibility Program, we are launching EXJ Gives Back, $1 per every new job poster and new job seeker will be donated to Experience Camps. Experience Camps is an award-winning national nonprofit that transforms the lives of grieving children through summer camp programs and innovative, year-round initiatives. Through compassion, connection, and play, we allow grieving children to embody a life full of hope and possibility. By amplifying their voices, we are creating a more grief-sensitive culture.

We have a corporate secretary in place and report to our investors on a quarterly basis offering technology and financial updates.
We have trusted outside counsel tracking all key Privacy developments such that we ensure our Privacy Policy is addressing the most recent legislation and regulation.
