Salary Range
$200,000 to $250,000
The base annual salary range offered for this position in New York is based on numerous factors, including job-related skills and knowledge, experience, specific location, relevant education and/or training. In addition to the annual salary, we offer a full benefits package.

Summary
We are seeking a full-time Managing Director with experience in leading significant, complex, and cross border investigations and regulatory compliance matters. This position will be part of our Crisis Strategy and Emerging Issues + Technology practice groups.  The successful candidate will have exceptional writing and interpersonal skills.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead high profile and complex cross border and sensitive investigations that directly interface with clients to present findings in an organized, concise and timely fashion
  • Excellent writing skills using critical thinking to write logically and fluently; experience writing investigative reports and/or trial/appellate briefs
  • Manage project profitability, cost control, revenue projections, and employee productivity
  • Ensure that client objectives and expectations are met in a timely manner

Required Education and Experience

  • Big Law, prominent boutique law firm, US Attorneys’ Office  or other prosecutorial experience
  • Law degree
  • Experience in large and high profile, complex, cross border own caseloads and communicating directly with clients
  • Proven ability to make good judgement calls, work independently in a highly effective and productive manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Acclimates well to a fast moving and multi-faceted, team-centric project environment; able to manage tight deadlines with a high volume of casework
  • Values perfection with consistent attention to detail in all work products
  • Quick learner of process-centric and repetitive methodologies to weave-in with the current team

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work.

Travel
Domestic and international travel may be expected for some projects.
