Donna Hamlin, Ph.D.

Dr. Hamlin, an executive coach for more than 36 years, works with professional executives and organizational teams in all facets of coaching for executive and organizational performance management. Her experience includes work with more than 350 CEOs, senior executives and professionals in more than 40 countries. Dr. Hamlin serves as Board Chair for Hamlin Harkins, Ltd., an international consultancy she founded in 1982 to serve clients in the areas of strategy, change management, marketing, and human and organizational development. Examples of her work include: facilitating strategic planning sessions for senior executive teams in companies spanning two dozen industries, coaching senior executives in areas of thought leadership and personal leadership, developing marketing and global branding, designing and delivering major international change management, and global integration plans for corporate mergers. She is also CEO of Boardwise, Inc. which she founded in 2010. Her work includes coaching of sitting board directors and work on best practices in governance.

Dr. Hamlin earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in management and organizational communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a B.A. in liberal arts from Siena College.

Process

Coaching begins with capturing interview input from people with whom you work, along with some online assessment of your style of problem-solving and approaches to work. We review this together and create an action plan, which is the guide for 6 months. During that time, we meet twice a month. For other specific needs, such as CV writing, the process is typically within a week from the request date.
